Harry Potter Digs Music

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe seems to be quite the little tastemaker. His favorite bands, primarily of "that indie rock" genre, include Franz Ferdinand ("brilliant"), Godspeed You Black Emporer ("fantastic!"), David Bowie, T.Rex, We Are Scientists, and The Rakes. More recently, Danny Rad has given props to California darlings-of-the-moment Giant Drag. If the acting gig falls through, sounds like there will always be work for the Pot at SPIN - that is, of course, unless SPIN folds following its purchase along with VIBE, a bigger seller and a bigger source of ad revenue.
