Restaurant Week is coming, which means EAT NOW, before those prix-fix meals start sucking so hard they make all the other food go bad. I am not a believer in Restoweek. It's made me dislike perfectly great restaurants based on their Restoweek suckage, and then I was forced to continue hating them, based on their non-Restoweek prices. This year, not even the price really makes up for the suckatude; it's been raised to $24.07. Get it - like 24/7? haha! it's a joke! Kind of like how considering $24.07 for dinner a bargain is a joke. Besides, isn't New York supposed to be all about overpriced sushi and elitism? Of course it is. If Batali wanted the rabble at Babbo, he would have opened an Original Ray’s.
