The scantily-clad boys of MGMT took Northsix by karaoke-style storm on Saturday night. Thank you so much to everyone who came out, and also to everyone who is housing the guys on their East Coast odyssey. Here are some pictures from the show. OMG, is that DJ Awesome Party's sneakers? Also, Of Montreal is composed of some of the most decent, no-bullshit people ever. Case in point: Matt Dawson, the bassist/multi-instrumentalist, held post at the merch table next to me for all the hours before and after their set - afterwards with stage makeup, sweaty stage clothes, and all.
